2 - bowl Matcha Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hello foodies! Look at these beauties! 

 

Need a simple, super fast, and unique cookie to share? Try these matcha chocolate chip cookies! The best part? It takes 2 bowls and can be made in a heartbeat! Perfect for a beginner baker or when you are in a time crunch.

 

 

Feel free to different add chocolate chips or add walnuts or seeds to this. Since the recipe uses oil, the cookie will be denser than a normal chocolate chip cookie. The texture is great for dipping in coffee or tea.

 

 

 

Matcha Chocolate Chip Cookie

Yields: 12 small cookies

Oven: 350 degrees F

Time: 12 minutes

 

Equipment needed: 2 medium mixing bowls, measuring cups / spoons, spatula, whisk, sifter, parchment lined cookie trays, small cookie scoop 

 

Ingredients needed:

1 cup all purpose flour

1/2 cup almond flour

1 tablespoon matcha powder

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

2 eggs

1/4 cup veg oil

2 tablespoon white sugar

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (or use whatever chips you have on hand) 

 

Directions:

  • In one medium bowl, sift together:

    • ​1 cup all purpose flour

    • 1/2 cup almond flour

    • 1 tablespoon matcha powder 

    • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

    • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

    • Set aside

  • In the other medium bowl, mix and whisk:

    • ​2 eggs

    • 1/4 cup veg oil

    • 2 tablespoon white sugar

  • Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients. 

  • Stir with spatula until uniform and event

  • Add 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  • Using a small cookie scoop, make a small round disk with cookie dough and place on parchment lined cookie tray

  • Bake for 12 minutes and rotate half way

  • Cool, eat and enjoy!
