10 Ways To Use Up Leftover Eggnog

Baking season is in full bloom! What is the signature holiday flavor? Eggnog! What is it? Simply, it is sweetened milk and cream with nutmeg and cinnamon. Yes, you can make homemade eggnog with heavy cream, milk, egg yolks, sugar and spices. Don't worry if you have to buy it! It'll save some time during your busy holiday season.

 

What to do with all that leftover eggnog? Don't toss it! Like pumpkin puree, you can easily add it to your daily cooking and baking.

 

 

Here are some easy ways to use up leftover eggnog:

 

1) Make a latte: 

Froth up some eggnog and add espresso. It is a perfect holiday pick me up, morning or afternoon

 

2) Substitute it for scones

Making some tasty scones? Instead of using buttermilk or cream, use eggnog for a holiday taste. Don't forget to top it with streusel!

 

3) Make eggnog pancakes

Instead of using milk, use eggnog in your pancake batter. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles.
